The team

	Graham Reid, Director Graham is a founding director of Classic Financial Solutions NV, and has lived in Belgium since 1969. He is a Chartered Accountant and member of both the Taxation faculty and the Financial Services Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Graham has many years’ experience in International Tax planning first in the accountancy profession and then for a multinational corporation. This was followed by a period working on the creation of what is now Fairbairn Trust Company in Guernsey for a subsidiary of Old Mutual. He and his wife Els have two daughters and three grandchildren all of whom live in Belgium. Apart from English Graham speaks fluent French and some Dutch.
	Alan Blaszkiewicz, Director Alan has been a financial adviser for 29 years and holds the Financial Planning Certificate issued by the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK. He ran his own financial services company in Brussels for five years before merging his business with Classic in 1995. Alan is a family man totally committed to a long term future in Belgium and as testimony has four boys (all Chelsea FC supporters) being educated in the Belgian system.
	Michel Masson, Director Michel has been in the Life assurance industry since 1985, working for several multinational providers. In 1996 he became an independent consultant specialising in Group Assurance. At the end of 2005 he joined CFS having already known Alan Blaszkiewicz since 1991. Michel is fluent in French, Dutch and English and has a basic knowledge of Italian. He lives in Antwerp, has one son, Nathanaël, and is currently coaching his hockey team. He also enjoys sailing.
	Jenny Mariën, Administrative Assistant Jenny joined Classic Financial Solutions in February 1997 after a career of 22 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Jenny is Belgian and graduated as Executive Secretary from the E.C.S.E.D.I. Brussels. She is been married to policeman Walther and has a son Christophe and a daughter Anne. She is completely bilingual and like many Belgians, is fluent is English and has a basic knowledge of German. She is a fount of local knowledge, and is our de facto office and human resources manager. There is little she does not know about how to get things done in Belgium.
	Sarah Hannant, Client Administrator Sarah arrived in Belgium 12 years ago as a trailing spouse. After a career break to have a family of a son and twin daughters, she which joined the Classic team as a part-time administrator in November 2002. Sarah is a Chartered Accountant and Auditor by training. Previously she worked for Deloitte & Touche in Belgium and the UK National Audit Office in London and Geneva. She prefers to work in English but has a working knowledge of French.
	Katrien Lanckman, Client Administrator Katrien joined the Classic Admin team in 2002. Katrien is Belgian and graduated as Marketeer from the Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven. Though bilingual in French and Dutch, she is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of German. She and her husband Dominique have 2 sons, Tibo, born in March of 2005 and Arne, born in October 2006.
	Marilyn Watts, Client Administrator, as described in her own words “My name is Marilyn - I joined Classic Financial Solutions in July 1998, as part of the administration team. Before that I lived in Hertfordshire, UK and moved to Belgium in 1991. I have 4 boys 21, 19, 13, & 12 all of whom are educated in Belgium. I enjoy an active and sportive life outside the office. In the office my extrovert nature is put to good use when dealing with the public relations for the company.”
	Annette Reid, Client Administrator Annette joined the Classic Admin team in 1999. She is British but has lived most of her life in Belgium. Educated in Belgium, she qualified as a translator in English and Spanish and also speaks fluent French and Dutch.
	Tom Slattery, Senior Adviser Tom is a former Midland Bank Executive with over 35 years experience in both retail and corporate banking in the UK and Europe. His primary focus is to develop our business and client services in North Germany.
	Colin Randall, External Adviser Originally having arrived in Belgium as a trailing spouse, Colin is our expert in data processing, banking and compliance matters. He has an extensive background in private and investment banking and insurance, with Samuel Montague, Bank of America and Unibank. He and his wife, Jan, live in Nederokkerzeel, near Brussels.
